I Bought The Viral Lululemon Dupes Amazon | CRZ Yoga Activewear Review NOT Sponsored

I tried the viral Lululemon Dupes Amazon to let you know if these are the real deal and if these could be the next best thing, or if they are just another waste of money. I’m spending my money so that you don’t have to.

Do you want to look good, feel comfortable and not break the bank when choosing the best activewear for your midlife health and fitness journey? Well I’m on a mission to help you do just that. In this series of discovering the best workout clothes for older women.

Best Workout Clothes For Older Women

I tried the viral Lululemon dupes on Amazon to see if it’s worth the money, or are we just better saving up and getting the real thing? 

Lululemon is almost a cult like brand that has a very loyal following in recent years, though as any fitness fasionista will know, these babies come with a hefty price tag. It’s the high price point I have only one lonely item of Lululemon items in my fitness wear collection. I would LOVE my wardobe to be filled with the stuff, BUT even as a fitness coach I haven’t been able to justify the price.

Dupes have gained immense popularity and I think that is mainly because many of us are feeling the need to tighten up our spending habits.

Now I am all for quality over quantity, I do think that a lot of dupes are questionable and the quality can sometimes be garbage. This isn’t great for the consumer or the environment.

But when money is tight, and I know many of us are feeling the pinch right now, sometimes dupes can be a great alternative. There is a reason these dupes have been getting rave reviews, spoiler alert, I’m pretty impressed.

In this article I am going to be reviewing the lululemon amazon look-alike brand CRZ Yoga. Many of the CRZ Yoga items have five-star reviews and have a very similar look, material composition but at a fraction of the price.

I did get the sizing mixed up with a few of these items that was really on me. As a Brit living in Europe I am still getting used to European and french sizing, and on this account I got it wrong with a few items. I am am usually a UK size 14. But the CRZ Yoga range generally comes in a UK sizes 6-16 US XXS-XL so not a massively inclusive size range but similar to that of Lululemon.

1. CRZ YOGA Women’s Cotton Pima Racerback Workout Tank

This is a basic tank, I really loved the feel of these tops a super soft material though it is quite thin. I think this actually makes for a great workout top as it’s extreemly lightweight and very stretchy.

Made from Pima cotton which according to a quick google search

“Pima cotton is an ultra-soft fabric that incorporates long cotton fibers and as such is known to more durable than other cottons”  

As I show in the video I just ordered the wrong size and so it was a little too tight for my linking. I would 100% order this again, but in a bigger size as I love how light it felt and I will keep this post updated with how well the items that I keep wash.

2. CRZ Yoga Butterlux Yoga Leggings

These amazon leggings are meant to be a dupe for the Lululemon align leggings. Now whilst I don’t have them to compare to myself, a few friends and also some of my clients have these leggings and I know that the Lululemon leggings are a lot thicker. These leggings are super thin but they do almost feel like a second skin. I almost felt a little naked in these. They are super soft, comfortable and very very stretch with their four-way stretch.

I did test these out on a conditioning workout, though I did find them very comfortable, I love the super high waist but as the top band has very little structure to it and so I found that the waistband just rolled down. As many of my fellow big belly ladies know that this happens with most leggings, it was eve more so with these than I experience with any of my other leggings.

3. CRZ YOGA Women’s Pima Cotton Long Sleeve Sports T-Shirt

This is the same soft stretchy material as the tank top and though I got this in the same size, this was a much more oversized fit. I love the look and fit of this top and it was definitly a keeper for me. Though now after wearing it, it does rise up when I put my arms over my head so the bigger size may have been better. I do however still really like this top and it’s washed well so far.

This is a dupe for the  Lululemon Drapey Softstreme Off-The-Shoulder Long-Sleeve Shirt which comes in at €78 so at €31 this is a great affordable alternative and the amazon version actually comes in a far wider range of colours which I love!

4. CRZ YOGA Women’s Sleeveless Open Back Tank Top

Using the same super soft stretchy fabric I once again would have really liked this top had it been the right size. I love the range of different colors it comes in and in fact has more color options that the Lulu versions. I love that they have longer tanks as I often hate that most brands only do crop top type tanks and as a midlife woman I like to have my mid drift covered a little more.

Though once again the sizing was wrong for me, I also wasn’t a massive fan of this colour. I always love a mauve to look at, but with my complexion I feel it just washes me out. I would get this again though in a different size and colour.

5. CRZ Yoga Dolphin Shorts V’s Lululemon Hotty Hot Short

These CRZ yoga shorts are a dupe of the Lululemon Hotty Hot Short, and I do actually have a lululemon version of these to compare to. Disregarding the fit as I once again got the wrong size, these shorts are a pretty perfect alternative to the real thing. They have the same material composition which is super lightweight and has a nice stretch to it. The dupe doesn’t have an waistband drawsting like the Lulu version, but what I actually think is better is that it has zip side pockets that will actually fit my phone in. One thing that really annoyed me with the Lulu is that I can’t fit my phone in the pocket which is frustration when I am out on a dog walk in the summer.

The major difference is that it’s missing the mesh panel, but the overall rating of this short is high and have the same super light sweat-wicking fabric and I would certainly look at buying these again. I think these are a really good option and are so far one of my favourite amazon finds.

6. CRZ YOGA Women Strappy Sports Bras

The CRZ Yoga strappy sports bra is once again super buttery soft and is a dupe of the Lululemon Energy bra Longline version.

Though this bra was nice and soft included removable pads, it had no where near enough support for me even as a low impact top. The lower band also did roll up a little which I would find uncomfortable to wear.

I think this could be a great bra for a smaller cup size, it just wasnt supportive for me or the type of activity I do

7. CRZ YOGA Womens Fleece Lined Half Zip Hoodie With Thumb Holes

This one is my all time favorite lululemon dupes from this haul and I am absolutely in love with this jumper. This is a dupe of the lululemon scuba hoodie which is usually prices at around €120. so at half the price you are saving a pretty penny. Though I know the Lulu version will likely feel a lot more luxurious I am impressed with the higher quality feel of this jumper. It has a really nice back detail, thumb holes and a big pocket at the front which has an extra pocket that you can securley hold your phone in.

It’s a really beautiful oversized fit, the 69% cotton gives it a really soft feel and comes in a wide range of colour options.

I am most impressed with this jumper, I think it’s my favourite find and will buy again in more colours.

I actually have gone on to get the real version. Well, my Mum actually got it for me for my birthday. The hood is slightly bigger and a better shape, but the real jumper is actually a little thinner in material. The zipper is also better quality. BUT, the dupe is still amazing for around £80 difference!!

Whilst the real one is nice for a treat. For every day where and because I am a bit of a scruff, the dupe is an amazing affordable option. I also found that the dupe comes in better size and colour ranges.

Lululemon Dupe v’s the real thing!! Is it worth paying an extra £80 just for the logo and the name?? What do you think? Trying it on again and watching it back I think I am going to return it and get the size down. If I’m spending this much money on a jumper it needs to be right. And whilst this is nice for a birthday treat if I was buying again, and I will get the pink one, but I’ll be sticking with the £40 version #workoutclothes

Final Thoughts: Are Amazon Lululemon Dupes Worth It?

If you’re looking for budget-friendly activewear, the CRZ Yoga line is well worth exploring. While some items fell short (like the sports bra), many exceeded expectations—especially the hoodie and dolphin shorts, I WILL be purchasing more of these.

Dupes can never truly replicate the luxury of high-end brands like Lululemon, but they can offer a practical solution for building your fitness wardrobe without overspending.

Training is incredibly important. It helps us build strength, maintain muscle, improve mobility, support our metabolism and stay capable for all the things we want to do in life.

But if your goal is fat loss or changing the way your body looks, you cannot out-train your diet.

One of the biggest things being on Mounjaro has reminded me of is that I wasn’t necessarily eating the wrong foods… I was simply eating too much.

A few too many snacks.
Portions that were a little too big.
A glass of wine that became two.

Nothing extreme. Just enough to keep me from maintaining a leaner body composition.

Since starting my GLP-1 journey I’ve naturally reduced my portion sizes, stopped mindless snacking and cut back on alcohol. The result? The weight is finally moving.

Not because I’m training harder.
Not because I’ve found a magic solution.
But because my calorie intake is finally matching what my body actually needs.

Keep lifting weights.
Keep moving your body.
Keep working on your fitness.

But don’t underestimate the impact of nutrition.

You build the body with training. You reveal it with nutrition.

We naturally stop doing explosive movements as we We naturally stop doing explosive movements as we get older.
Jumping. Sprinting. Moving quickly. Reacting fast.

But that’s actually one of the reasons we start to feel older physically.

One of the first things to decline in midlife is power… and that’s not just about sport or performance. It affects balance, reactions, mobility, strength and even confidence in your body.

This is why I think some form of power training is so important for women over 40.

And honestly… it doesn’t need to be extreme 😅

It can be:
✔️ Kettlebell swings
✔️ Fast step ups
✔️ Light jumps or hops
✔️ Simply moving a weight with speed & intent

Build up towards doing drop jumps as per the video. 

Because the goal isn’t just to stay “fit”.
It’s to stay capable.

Strong. Mobile. Reactive. Independent 💪

One of the biggest things I wanted to focus on during this journey wasn’t just losing weight… it was maintaining muscle, keeping my strength, improving my energy and actually feeling GOOD in my body again.

But that “this is getting hard now” feeling?
That’s usually where the magic actually starts happening.

If you finish a set feeling like you could easily knock out another 3-4 reps… chances are the weight is too light to really challenge you.

The last 1-2 reps should feel HARD.
Sometimes messy.
Sometimes accompanied by a little face scrunch or grunt 😂

It means you’re finally tapping into an intensity level that your body actually needs to get stronger.

And honestly? Most women are far stronger than they give themselves credit for.

You don’t need to destroy yourself every workout… but you do need to stop playing it safe all the time.

As we get older we naturally see:
• Loss of fast-twitch muscle fibres (the ones responsible for power)
• Reduced bone density when there’s no impact
• A drop in reactive strength (your ability to catch yourself, change direction, stay agile)
• An increased risk of falls — and with that, loss of independence

You need a structure that works with your body, especially over 40.

Here’s a solid weekly plan to build from 👇

- 3 x strength sessions (this is your foundation) = build muscle, support metabolism, shape your body

- 1 x HIIT or SIT session = short, intense, time-efficient cardio

- Daily movement = aim for 10k+ steps to keep energy expenditure high without burnout

That’s it.

Because fat loss isn’t about doing more… it’s about doing the right things consistently.

Strength training is what stops that “smaller but softer” look
Steps keep things sustainable
And a little intensity goes a long way
