If you’ve been following my activewear reviews, you’ll know that I’m currently on a mission to find the best workout clothes for women over 40. And one brand that has been popping up on my social media feed for quite some time is LNDR. In this article I’ll be giving my LNDR leggings review as an unsponsored opinion.
What initially caught my attention about LNDR was their whole approach to activewear. They’re very much about no BS, focusing on performance over aesthetics, and creating high-quality workout clothes that are designed to last.
And as someone who has tried out a LOT of different activewear brands over the years, I can tell you that performance is often where some of them fall short.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I love a bright pink pair of leggings as much as the next person, but when it comes to those staple pieces in my workout wardrobe, I want clothing that actually performs.
I’m not particularly interested in crop tops or bum-scrunch leggings. I want clothes that are comfortable, supportive, flattering and, most importantly, stay in place when I’m working out.
So, I decided to put LNDR to the test. You can read on or if you prefer, you can watch the video version below.
But there is one thing we need to talk about before we get started, and that is the price!
LNDR is expensive!!! These are definitely premium-priced pieces of activewear, and because I was spending my own money on this haul, I decided to keep it fairly small.
I’ve already put them through a workout, so I can share my initial thoughts on how they perform, but they’re still relatively new to my wardrobe. I’ll need to come back with an update on durability once I’ve worn and washed them for a little longer.
So, are LNDR leggings worth the money? And does the brand actually live up to its promises?
Let’s get into my honest LNDR activewear review.

What Makes LNDR Different From Other Activewear Brands?
One of the things that initially attracted me to LNDR was their focus on quality, performance and sustainability.
There are so many activewear brands now that seem to focus almost entirely on how their clothes look rather than how they actually perform.
And while I obviously want my workout clothes to look good, I also want them to be functional so they perform well during workouts.
LNDR talks a lot about creating garments that are made to last rather than constantly producing new collections and following fast-fashion trends.
They also place an emphasis on their choice of materials, including using natural fibres where possible and focusing on reducing potentially harmful substances in their clothing.
This is something that interests me because, like a lot of women, I spend a considerable amount of time in activewear.
So, I do think it’s important to consider what materials we’re wearing so close to our skin, particularly when we’re sweating during exercise.
I also like the idea of buying fewer, better-quality pieces that will last for years rather than constantly having to replace leggings that have lost their shape or started falling apart.
Of course, that’s the promise. Whether these products actually live up to that promise is something I’ll only be able to judge over time.
Ordering LNDR From France: Delivery and Import Charges
Before getting into the individual products, I want to mention something about ordering LNDR if you’re based in Europe.
As you may know, I live in France, although a large part of my audience is based in the UK.
I initially looked at ordering directly to France, but the delivery costs and import charges were getting suuuuuper expensive!
And considering that LNDR is already a premium-priced brand, those additional charges made the order even more expensive.
In the end, I decided to have everything delivered to my mum’s house in the UK, and she brought the items over when she next visited.
That worked out to be a much more affordable option for me.
LNDR Bamboo Crew Socks Review – £15
Comfortable, padded and tested during HYROX.
£15 – €18.95 – $18
We’re going to start with probably the simplest item from my haul, which is the LNDR crew socks.
Now, I have to apologise because these hadn’t actually been washed when I filmed my review, but that’s because I’ve already been wearing them so much!
These are made from bamboo, which fits nicely with LNDR’s focus on using more natural materials where possible.
And I have to say, I absolutely love these socks.
I actually wore them for my HYROX race, so they’ve had a pretty decent test already.
If you’ve ever done HYROX, you’ll know that you’re spending a lot of time on your feet, running and moving between different exercises. The last thing you want is uncomfortable socks rubbing against your feet.
These performed incredibly well.
They’re nicely padded, really comfortable and I didn’t experience any rubbing whatsoever.
They’re also a really nice-looking crew sock, which is something I tend to wear quite a lot with my workout outfits.
Now, at £15 for a pair of socks, they’re certainly not cheap.

But if they continue to perform as well as they have so far and last a long time, then I can justify spending a little more on something I’m going to wear regularly.
For me, the biggest question is going to be how well they hold up after lots of washing and wearing.
But on first impressions, I’m incredibly impressed.
LNDR Femme Fatale Sports Bra Review – £69
Possibly one of the best sports bras I’ve tested.
Next up is the LNDR Femme Fatale sports bra, which is one of their bestselling products.
I deliberately chose some of the brand’s most popular items because I wanted to see whether they really were as good as LNDR claims.
Now, this sports bra costs £69 – €82.95 – $79
Yes, £69 for a sports bra!
That is a LOT of money, so I was really hoping that it would deliver on performance.
And I have to say, this was probably the standout item from the entire haul.
Fit, Comfort and Support
One of the biggest frustrations I’ve had with sports bras recently is that so many of them seem to be designed for younger women who want to show off their cleavage.
And that’s absolutely fine if that’s what you’re looking for, but personally, I want functionality.
I’m not someone who generally works out in just a sports bra. I prefer to have a top over it.
However, if I did want to work out in this bra on its own, I would feel completely comfortable and confident doing so.
It has a lovely high neckline, which gives you plenty of coverage, and the sides come up high enough that you’re not getting any spillage around the armpits.

There’s nothing digging in, and it feels incredibly comfortable around the body.
The back has thinner straps, which I was initially a little unsure about, but they also feel really comfortable.

What’s particularly interesting is that LNDR actually markets this as a medium-support sports bra.
And I was genuinely surprised by that.
I’ve tried medium-support bras from other brands, including Fabletics, where I’ve immediately thought there was absolutely no way I could comfortably go for a run in them.
But with this one, I genuinely feel that I could.
Everything feels incredibly well supported without the bra being overly restrictive or uncomfortable.
Sometimes high-support sports bras can feel so tight that you can’t wait to take them off.
This one gives me that secure feeling without feeling like I’m being squeezed.
No Removable Padding!
Another thing I really like is that there are no removable pads.
I know some women prefer having padding in their sports bras, but personally, I find those removable pads incredibly annoying.
You put your sports bra in the wash, the pads fold up or come out, and then you spend ages trying to get them back into the right position.
It’s one of those little things that drives me mad.
So, I’m very happy that I don’t have to deal with that here.
Now, I will say that this bra does flatten your chest rather than giving you lots of shape.

I probably look about as flat-chested as I possibly could in it!
But that’s not something that particularly bothers me because the whole point of a sports bra is to provide support.
And this one absolutely does that.
My Verdict on the Femme Fatale Sports Bra
I genuinely can’t fault this sports bra based on my experience so far.
It’s supportive, comfortable, lightweight and feels fantastic to wear.
For me, this is a 10 out of 10 sports bra.
Yes, £69 is expensive, but if it continues to perform like this and lasts me for years, I can see it being a worthwhile investment.
It’s certainly one of the best sports bras I’ve tested.
LNDR Here Today Tank Review – My Thoughts on Fit and Length
Next up is the LNDR Here Today tank.
I ordered this in a medium/large, and this is where I have a little bit of constructive criticism for the brand.
One of the things I really like about LNDR’s marketing is that they seem to appeal to women in their 30s, 40s and 50s who want good-quality, performance-driven activewear.
And I would say I’m pretty much their ideal customer.
I’m a woman in my 40s who loves fitness, strength training and feeling strong.
But there’s one thing I really don’t like wearing Crop tops!

I know they’re incredibly popular, and there are plenty of women who love them, but they’re just not for me.
Even though I’ve lost weight recently, I still have a little bit of a mum tum, and I’m not particularly bothered about that. It’s just part of my body.
But when I’m working out, I just prefer to have my stomach covered.
Why I Wish LNDR Offered Longer Tops
My biggest issue with the Here Today tank is that it’s just a little bit too short.
When I lift my arms above my head, my stomach is exposed.

And I just don’t want that when I’m working out.
I’m not asking for a particularly long top. Even an extra half an inch would probably make me happier.
I just want a little more coverage.
What frustrates me slightly is that LNDR doesn’t seem to offer much variation in top lengths.
Some of their other tops are longer, but they’re also much more fitted.
And I don’t particularly like wearing really tight-fitting tops.
I prefer something that is slightly looser around my midsection and doesn’t cling to every part of my stomach.
Considering that LNDR seems to be targeting women in that midlife age group, I would love to see them offer a few more options when it comes to length and fit.
I’m sure I’m not the only woman over 40 who wants a little more coverage around her tummy.
What I Love About the Here Today Tank
Now, having said all of that, there are actually lots of things I really like about this top.
Firstly, it’s made from organic cotton, which I love.
The material feels incredibly soft, lightweight and breathable.
It almost has that soft, seamless feel that you get with some activewear leggings.
There is some subtle panelling down the sides and a seamless-style finish around the bottom hem.

It feels really comfortable to move in, and I had no issues wearing it during my workout.
I also love the overall athletic look of this top.
It has a higher neckline, which I really like, and it just makes me feel strong and powerful when I’m wearing it.
It looks like proper performance activewear rather than something that’s simply designed to look fashionable.
And I really appreciate that.
I also found that when I wore it with the LNDR leggings, which I’ll talk about next, I felt a little more secure around my midsection because of the support the leggings provided.
So, despite my frustrations with the length, I have decided to keep it.
I genuinely really like the top.
I just wish LNDR would offer it in a slightly longer version.

LNDR Fatal Attraction Leggings Review – Are They Worth It?
Now, onto the item I was probably most interested in trying.
The LNDR Fatal Attraction leggings.

These are one of LNDR’s bestselling leggings, and I chose them because I wanted to see whether their most popular style really delivered on the brand’s promises.
I went for the 7/8 length because that’s generally my preferred length when it comes to leggings.
I’m only 5’4″, so I often find that 7/8 leggings give me a really nice fit without having lots of excess material around my ankles.
And straight away, I absolutely loved the look and feel of these leggings.
Fit, Fabric and Compression
The first thing I noticed was just how lovely the material feels.
They have a really soft, brushed finish, which makes them incredibly comfortable against the skin.
There is also a slight amount of compression, particularly around the midsection.

And this is something I really appreciate.
Even though I’ve lost weight, I naturally carry more weight around my middle, and I still have that little bit of a mum tum.
So, I like leggings that give me some support around my stomach without feeling overly restrictive.
These do that really well.
They feel sculpting and supportive, and they hug my body in all the right places.
I also really like the seams at the back, which give a lovely shape around the glutes without having that exaggerated bum-scrunch effect.
There is a front seam, which I know some women don’t like, but personally, that doesn’t particularly bother me.
And they have side pockets!
For me, pockets are pretty much essential when it comes to workout leggings, so I was really pleased to see those included.
Overall, I think these are a gorgeous-looking pair of leggings.
Are LNDR Fatal Attraction Leggings Squat-Proof?
Yes!
I tested these during my workout, and they were completely squat-proof.
There were no issues with the material becoming see-through when squatting or moving around.
The fabric feels substantial without being overly thick, and they’re incredibly comfortable to exercise in.
So, in terms of general comfort, appearance and squat-proof performance, I was really impressed.
But there was one issue.
Do LNDR Leggings Roll Down During Workouts?
This is probably my biggest criticism of the Fatal Attraction leggings.
They did roll down slightly during my workout.

Now, if you’ve watched some of my other activewear reviews, you’ll know that this is something I struggle with quite a lot.
Because I carry more weight around my midsection, I often find that leggings start to roll down at the waistband when I’m moving around.
It’s incredibly frustrating, particularly when you’re trying to concentrate on your workout rather than constantly pulling your leggings back up.
And unfortunately, these did do that.
It wasn’t a huge amount of rolling like some leggings I have tried and they still felt very comfortable, it wasn’t overly annoying.
It was mainly that very top section of the waistband that started folding over slightly.
But it was noticeable, and I did find myself adjusting them between sets.
I have also worn the leggings when out walking and they do stay up inclredibley well so think they would also be a great running legging.
Now, I want to make it clear that this isn’t necessarily going to happen to everyone, I think a lot of it comes down to individual body shape.
If you’re someone who has a smaller waist and wider hips, you might find that these stay in place perfectly.
But for someone like me, who is a little thicker around the middle, the waistband didn’t stay completely flat.
And considering the premium price of these leggings, I would have loved a little more structure around the top of the waistband to prevent that happening.
Did I Choose the Wrong Size?
One thing I do need to mention is that I’m not entirely sure whether I chose the right size.
I ordered a medium.
But because I’ve recently lost weight, I’m still getting used to what size I actually am in different brands.
And I did wonder whether I should have sized down to a small.
As well as the slight rolling at the waistband, I also found myself pulling the leggings up a little during my workout.
So, it’s possible that a smaller size might have given me a more secure fit.
That’s something I’d really like to test in the future.
I would be interested in trying another pair of LNDR leggings, possibly with a different level of compression, and comparing how they perform.
Because one of LNDR’s main selling points is that their leggings are designed to stay in place.
And while these certainly felt supportive and comfortable, they didn’t quite deliver on that promise for my body shape.
How Do They Compare With Other Leggings I’ve Tried?
Interestingly, one of the only pairs of leggings I’ve recently tested that hasn’t rolled down on me is the updated Fanka leggings.
I’ve just reviewed those as well, and they were the first pair in a long time that genuinely stayed in place throughout my workout.
So, I know it is possible to find leggings that work for my body shape.
However, I don’t want the slight rolling to overshadow everything else I like about the LNDR leggings.
Because I really do think they’re beautiful leggings.
They’re incredibly soft, supportive, flattering and fully squat-proof.
And the rolling wasn’t bad enough for me to want to return them.
I just think that at this price point, it’s something worth mentioning.
Especially if you’re someone who struggles with leggings rolling down around your stomach.
LNDR Activewear Materials, Sustainability and Washing Instructions
Another thing I want to talk about is LNDR’s approach to sustainability and the longevity of their clothing.
This is something that features quite heavily in their marketing, and it’s one of the reasons I was interested in trying the brand.
They talk about using better-quality materials, creating garments that are designed to last and making more considered choices when it comes to production.
The Here Today tank, for example, is described as being biodegradable under certain conditions.
And I have to admit, when I read that it was designed to biodegrade in landfill conditions, my immediate thought was, how does the top know it’s in landfill and not in my washing machine?
Obviously, there are specific conditions required for materials to break down, but it did make me laugh!
It also made me think about how these garments are going to hold up over time.
Can You Wash LNDR Activewear on a Cold Wash?
One thing I noticed is that LNDR recommends washing these items on a cold wash.
And this is something I’m going to have to get used to.
I normally wash my workout clothes at 30°C.
When you’re doing high-intensity workouts, getting sweaty and wearing activewear for long periods, you want to know that your clothes are going to come out of the wash smelling fresh.
So, I’m interested to see how well these garments hold up when washed according to the care instructions.
Will they stay fresh?
Will the materials retain their shape?
Will the leggings continue to feel supportive after multiple washes?
And will the sports bra still provide the same level of support?
These are all things I can’t really answer after just a few wears.
But I do intend to keep wearing these items and come back with an update on their durability.
Because when you’re paying premium prices for activewear, you really do want it to last.
Is LNDR Activewear Worth the Money?
So, after trying four different LNDR products, what are my overall thoughts?
I have to say, I’m genuinely impressed.
I really like the ethos behind the brand.
I love the focus on performance rather than simply following trends, and I appreciate the emphasis on quality materials and creating pieces that are designed to last.
These are very much staple items for your workout wardrobe.
They’re not particularly flashy.
There aren’t lots of bright colours or unusual designs.
In fact, most of the collection seems to focus on fairly neutral, darker colours.
And while I do love having some colourful pieces in my activewear wardrobe, I also think there’s a place for those really good-quality basics that you can wear over and over again.
For me, LNDR fits into that category.
What I Loved About LNDR
The quality and feel of the materials really stood out to me.
Everything feels incredibly comfortable to wear, and the pieces have clearly been designed with performance in mind.
The Femme Fatale sports bra was an absolute standout.
I genuinely think it’s one of the best sports bras I’ve tested, and I’d happily give it a 10 out of 10.
The bamboo crew socks were also fantastic, particularly considering how comfortable they were during my HYROX race.
I loved the feel and athletic styling of the Here Today tank, and the Fatal Attraction leggings were beautifully soft, supportive and flattering.
What I Think LNDR Could Improve
Firstly, I would love more variation in top lengths.
If you’re targeting women in their 30s, 40s and 50s, I think it’s important to recognise that not everyone wants to wear cropped or tight-fitting tops.
I would happily buy more of their tops if they offered slightly longer, looser options.
Secondly, while I loved the Fatal Attraction leggings, I was disappointed that the waistband rolled down slightly during my workout.
That could potentially be a sizing issue, and I’d like to test a smaller size before making a final judgement.
But it is something worth considering, particularly if you have a similar body shape to mine.
And finally, I would love to see a little more colour.
I completely understand the appeal of simple, timeless basics, but sometimes I do want a bright pair of leggings in my wardrobe!
If you love colourful, statement activewear, LNDR probably isn’t going to be your first choice.
Would I Buy LNDR Again?
Yes, I absolutely would.
Despite a couple of small criticisms, my first impressions of LNDR have been really positive.
I think the brand delivers on its focus on performance and comfort, and I really like the direction they’re taking with their activewear.
The biggest thing I still need to test is durability.
Because at these prices, I want these pieces to last for years.
I already have plenty of workout clothes in my wardrobe that I’ve owned for a very long time, and that’s always my intention when buying new activewear.
I don’t want to constantly replace things.
I’d much rather invest in something that performs well, feels good and continues to look great after years of use.
I’m hoping these LNDR pieces will become part of that long-term collection.
Although I am slightly regretting choosing a light-coloured top because I managed to get lipstick on it while filming!
Honestly, this is why I never buy white clothes.
Hopefully, the stain comes out in the wash!
I’d also really like to try some of LNDR’s other leggings in the future, particularly to compare the different compression levels and see whether sizing down would help with the waistband issue.
But overall, I would definitely recommend checking LNDR out if you’re looking for high-quality, performance-focused activewear and you’re happy to invest a little more in your workout wardrobe.
Final Thoughts on My LNDR Leggings Review
If you’re looking for workout clothes that are comfortable, supportive, flattering and designed with performance in mind, I think LNDR is a brand worth considering.
I particularly love that they’re not trying to sell you activewear purely based on how it looks.
They’re focusing on how it actually performs.
And as a health and fitness coach who spends a lot of time in workout clothes, that’s something I really appreciate.
The Fatal Attraction leggings weren’t quite perfect for me because of the slight waistband rolling, but I still really liked them.
The Femme Fatale sports bra, on the other hand, was absolutely fantastic.
And the overall quality of everything I tried was impressive.
The real test now will be seeing how these pieces hold up over the coming months.
I’ll definitely keep you updated.
In the meantime, if you’ve tried LNDR leggings or any of their other activewear, I’d love to hear what you think.
Have you found that the leggings stay in place? Do you think the quality justifies the price?
And are there any other activewear brands you’d like me to test next?
