Understanding Her Fitness Goals & Preferences

Some might be focused on weight loss, while others might be aiming to improve flexibility or build muscle. Understanding these goals will help you select the perfect gift that aligns with her desires.
To gain a little more understanding on what she likes when it comes to health and fitness, into her fitness have a conversation with her about her current routines, activities she enjoys, and any specific fitness goals she’s working towards. This will give a little more insight that will guide your gift selection process.
Additionally, take notice of her workout habits. Does she prefer yoga or Pilates? Is she into high-intensity interval training (HIIT) or weightlifting? By paying attention to her preferences, you can narrow down the type of gifts that will truly resonate with her.

Under £20
Fitness gadgets and accessories
Fitness gadgets and accessories are perfect for those who love to track their progress, challenge themselves, and stay motivated. These high-tech gifts not only enhance her fitness experience but also make her workouts more efficient and enjoyable. Here are some top-notch fitness gadgets and accessories that she’ll love:
1. Smartwatch or Fitness Tracker: A smartwatch or fitness tracker is a versatile gift that can help her monitor her heart rate, track her steps, calories burned, and even analyze her sleep patterns. With features like GPS and workout tracking, she can keep tabs on her progress and challenge herself to new heights. Here are some of the best rated and my top picks.
2. Wireless Headphones: Nothing beats the feeling of working out to your favourite playlist. Wireless headphones provide the freedom to move without getting tangled in wires, ensuring she stays in the zone during her workouts.
3. Resistance Bands: Resistance bands are compact, portable, and versatile tools that can be used for a variety of exercises. They help in building strength, improving flexibility, and adding intensity to her workouts. Plus, they are great for on-the-go workouts or when she can’t make it to the gym.
Cooling Towel
The perfect little stocking filler for any gym bunny or buff. Cooling towels to cool you off mid or post-workout.
Nike Tye Dye Socks
Tie dye socks have been all the rage this year and I have seen all the cool kids sporting them.
Whilst you can pay the full price amount from brands like Nike or Vans.
I wanted to give you a few different options here as you could go the route that I ventured down this year and do your own tie-die socks to really personalise your gift.
Get plain Nike Socks HERE and then grab a do-it-yourself tye dye kit. You can then make several pairs for all of your favourite people.
Though there are also some really talented people creating beautiful designs over on Etsy too which are creating incredible designs. I know for me these are definitely better than anything I could create, and I love the reverse bleach ones for men.
Portable Exercise Dice
These are a cool little gift for any fitness lover. Be able to throw together a workout and leave up to the game of luck.
Tea Gifts
If you are anything like me and love nothing more than a good cup of tea, it’s likely that you may have some friends that are a bit like that too. In fact, for the last 3 years I have had this Pukka Tea Advent calendar, and it’s my absolute favourite.
So whilst you may like to treat yourself to that. For your tea-loving friends, I found a couple of gift sets that I know I would love.
I am absolutely here for the Cosy Night in Tea sets from Twinings and think they make for a really beautiful gift. Socks, candle and a cuppa!! Sounds like an awesome cosy night-in to me.
Gifts £30-£50
Manta Sleep Mask
I am the type of person that needs complete darkness to get a good night’s sleep. And that’s not always easy to achieve even with complete blackout curtains. So I have been in search of a good sleep mask, and one that doesn’t slide off your head in the middle of the night. The Manta Sleep Mask is one that seems to hit the mark. Masks start from £30, but I personally have my eye on the silk version at £59, you know because we all want to keep those wrinkles to a minimum.

Boxing Gloves
Ready for those new year boxing sessions. Gift her, her own pair so she doesn’t have to share the sweaty smelly ones in class.
No Back Cap
No back cap so all of us pony tail lovers don’t have to compromise with having hair stuck to the back of your neck. I actually have an Ivy park no back cap, but I’m loving this Yitty cap which is Lizzo’s brand collaboration with Fabletics as a reasonably prices alternative to the Ivy Park.

Nike Yoga Mat
Every fitness fanatic is always in need of a good quality fitness mat, and I really love the design on this one. Perfect for those home workouts, or to take to the gym with you.
Gemstone Jewelry
Know a girl who loves her crystals or is a little more connected to her woo-woo side? I came across this jewellery maker on Etsy a little while ago and fell in love with her designs. You can choose birthday gemstones or even have your own design. I think they make for a really beautiful and personalised gift.

Gifts £50-£99
LARQ water bottle
I love a good water bottle, and I will literally carry mine around everywhere, even taking it on holiday. Well, I did until I made the fatal mistake of allowing my child to use it for football, and it was never to be seen ever again, sigh!!
But maybe it was fate and I was meant to have a new bootle. Whilst I have always opted for a Chilly bottle as their ability to keep hot drinks hot, and cold drinks cold is just a game changer. But I recently came across the Larq bottle. That not only keeps drinks hot or cold, but also has an inbuilt water filter too. Now, this is a real game changer and I am so excited to have one on the way to me right now. I’ll do a full review once I have fully tested it out. But didn’t want to miss it off this list.
It’s essential to keep hydrated, but having a reusable water bottle is also better for the environment and your pocket, so what is not to love about this nifty gift. I know it’s a little pricy but I’ll be sure to NEVER allow the kids to use it, EVER!!!!
Blackroll Foam Rolling Set
I recently got some of these Blackroll rollers and they are amazing. I have the one that is like 2 big balls and also the one for shins and arms and they are awesome for getting in all those harder to hit areas. So I am really loving this foam roller and facia release set. An essential tool for any active person to keep your muscles in good condition and away from injury. This set comes in pink or black. But of course I love the pink ones the most.
Hello Fresh Gift Card
I love Hello Fresh, so why not gift someone you love the ease of Hello Fresh? Make tasty meals with fresh ingredients, without having to do any of the shopping or stressing over finding the perfect recipe.
You simply buy a gift card for an amount of your choice. They then get to go in and choose their meals and redeem the gift amount.
Gifts £100-£199
Infrared Sauna Blanket
This has actually been on my radar for a little while. Most for my husband who suffers from joint pain from arthritis. I’m planning on getting him one of these for him (I’m pretty sure he doesn’t read anything I write so I should be safe lol), though I won’t like I’ll definitely be hopping in and giving this a go for myself. Get all of the relaxing and muscle relief benefits of a sauna, but on the comfort of your own home.
The Best Massage Gun – HYPERICE HYPERVOLT WITH BLUETOOTH
There are massage guns and then there are massage guns. I know lots of people that have bought these, but then never really use them. However, this is a staple tool in my household. Excellent to use pre-workout to warm up the muscles, or post-workout to help relieve any aches and pains. I feel these are an essential tool for the active person.
This particular model also comes with online programme of how to use and on which body parts to get the most out of it. Also boasts being super quiet, which is the bug bear I have with the one I have. I like to massage when I am relaxed and watching TV, but it’s so noisy it makes the watching part difficult.
Nike Metcon 4
I have been wanting a pair of Metcons for some time and these beauties will be the next on my purchase list. Metcons are particularly good for training in the gym now only being stable for agility work, but also have a lifted heel to help you get the most from your squats.
Beats
Gifts £200 & Above
Smartwatch
Whilst I stopped wearing my smartwatch daily, I know that they are still hugely popular Christmas gift, and I think that wearable technology is likely here to stay. I still have my trusty Garmin and use it for events or longer runs. Garmin in my opinion is the best for smartwatches, they are incredibly robust and this is a really beautiful-looking watch.
Exercise Bike
Home exercise bike. It’s like getting a Pelaton, but without the price tag. This is a high-quality bike for an affordable price. This is the best rated bike on Amazon for its price range. Workout from home anytime no matter what your restrictions.
Beats By Dre Headphones
In my household noise cancelling headphones are life. In fact, I’m wearing mine right now as I type with my concentration music plugged in to drown out the noise that is coming from the kids TV programmes. I use them when out walking, even when making dinner and watching my favourite Youtube videos. I know these are on the pricy side but the sound quality has always been a huge factor for me. Though they are also super comfy, and of course, they look pretty cool too.
So there you have my Christmas gift guide for fitness lovers 2022. Is there anything on there that you want for yourself? Is there something that will be perfect for a loved one? Or is there anything else that you think should be on the list??
Let me know in the comments.
