Yep, me too. So when making my recent purchase of Hormone Harmony I noticed a new product on the Happy Mammoth official website and decided to give Complete Belly Reset and try. Here I give my unsponsored and honest Happy Mammoth Complete Belly Reset Review.
I have been a fan of the Happy Mammoth products since trying out the Hormone Harmony to support peri-menopausal symptoms, particularly wanting to improve quality sleep.
You can read my previous Happy Mammoth review here:
I still take Hormone Harmony regularly and so I was interested to see if their new Complete Belly Reset also lived up to their marketing hype and of course the price.
Happy Mammoth offers a range of wellness supplements that are based on clinical research, looking at the latest scientific research and combining key ingredients to create a holistic product line that I have so far had a good experience with.
Introduction
This product is designed for women who experience digestive issues. Said to flush out digestive gunk, reduce bloating and help you achieve more regular bowel movements through their so-called digestive super cleanse.
All things which I personally I can relate to feeling like I needed.
Note** There will be a lot of poo talk in this review, so you have been warned.
Their marketing is particularly appealing to me with the talk of a smooth daily bowel movement, healthy weight loss on command and feeling lighter all day. Put together with their organic ingredients they work to justify their higher prices.
As someone who eats a healthy and balanced diet for the most part. I’m also someone who loves to have a little bit of what I fancy from time to time too. Yet my digestive system can often feel somewhat challenged.
There are times when having a bowel movement can feel like a struggle, or even missing a day from time to time.
I often find that certain foods can leave me feeling excessively bloated too. Bloating after eating is perfectly normal, but at times it would get to the point of being painful full of gas and looking like I am 9 months pregnant.
I hold onto fat mostly around my midsection and so the line on the sales page saying ‘The ingredients in Complete Belly Reset has been shown in clinical trials to help Women lose more weight faster – especially around the midsection’ are particularly appealing to midlife women like me who hold most of their fat around their tummy and also have digestive issues too.
So in this post, I will be sharing my own personal experience of using the product over a 30-day period so that you can make a more informed decision on if this is the right product for you.
This is medical advice, but rather my own anecdotal experience. If you are struggling with severe digestive issues it’s always advised to seek professional medical advice or speak to a dietician.
This post is not sponsored, I purchased the product with my own money to give a completely unbiased review as a health coach.

How Much Does It Cost
I purchased the Complete Belly Reset formula with my order of Hormone Harmony. Originally I was sent an email saying that it was going to be delayed as they seem to have stocking issues with this new product. But in the end, they both came together within a week of ordering.
I paid €59.99 which is a fair old chunk of cash for 24 servings as a one-time purchase.
This is for a 240g tub. It’s advised to mix a 10g scoop with a liquid of your choice 1-2 times a day.
What Does It Do?
The thing that I really came to like about the Happy Mammoth products is the use of their all-natural ingredients within their dietary supplement. It’s vegan-friendly, with no preservatives, artificial colourings or sugars. There are so many products out there that are mostly filler and the Happy Mammoth products seem to buck this trend.
Essentially, the complete belly reset is a high-fibre formula that also includes prebiotics. Here are the description of the main ingredients in their natural supplements
Sunfiber – Is a trademarked name. It’s hydrolyzed guar gum a high-fibre pre-biotic that can be bought on it’s own for around £30 for a 30 day supply
Fibregum – Fibregum TM is obtained from carefully selected acacia gum sap exuded from the stems and branches of acacia trees. Fibregum TM offers a guaranteed minimum of 90% soluble fibre and is said to have prebiotic benefits and help restore permeability of the gut wall.
Marshmallow root extract – Has been used as a remedy for various issues such as digestive, respiratory and skin issues for thousands of years . Has been shown to potentially support gut repair.
Chamomile Root Extract – Another herb that has been commonly used for 100’s of years and has research to support it’s use for issues such as hay fever, inflammation, muscle spasms, menstrual disorders, insomnia, ulcers, wounds, gastrointestinal disorders, rheumatic pain, and haemorrhoids.
Bifidobacterium Lactis – Bifidobacterium lactis is a type of probiotic (“good” bacteria) that lives in the intestines. It produces lactic and acetic acid. “Good” bacteria such as B. lactis can help break down food, absorb nutrients, and fight off “bad” organisms that might cause diseases.
Bacillus Subtilliis – ‘These powerful probiotic bacteria have demonstrated their ability to significantly improve digestive health, and they even have a role in preventative healthcare with their ability to lower lipid levels and improve immune response’ according to Dr Rucio. Traditionally added to our foods through our soil supply. Modern-day farming practices mean that our foods can be lacking in this powerful probiotic.
Complete Belly Reset Diary
I decided that I was going to consume the product by adding it to my morning protein smoothie.
This is something I love to have each morning and thought it would make a great addition to get it into my diet.
Day 1 – The powder itself doesn’t taste bad. Hints of vanilla but a little more earthy is how I would describe it. Adding it to my regular smoothie didn’t really alter the taste too much.
Soon after taking my stomach started to feel quite bloated. Had a small movement but feel like needed to have more. Tummy feeling very protruded by the afternoon
Ended up taking a second dose to try and get relief. Just feel like I want to have a massive poo, but nothing is coming out.
Loads of gas and it smelt pretty horrendous. My child even commented to tell me how toxic I was lol. I’m just grateful I work from home. Having to experience in the workplace and around other people may not have been quite as funny.
Day 2 – Again had it within a smoothie for breakfast. Same things, super bloated and protruding tummy.
Did pass a little poop. I noticed it was super green and dense but not really giving a lot of relief when I go to the toilet. Feels like a gassy build-up, again still not smelling great and really uncomfortable.
Day 3 -. Had a movement this morning that was a little bigger. Poop is long and thin. Still feeling a little gassy but my tummy is less bloated and sore today. Tummy was in fact feeling a little flatter today.
Days 4 onward – Haven’t noticed much really. Bloating has stopped. Poop is a normal pass in the morning and not having the same gas either. So feeling like my stomach has settled or got used to it a little.
Feels like not much was happening for about a week. Still wasn’t feeling regular with a morning pass.
Day 14 – I feel like I am now having a regular daily morning pass that feels like it’s completely emptying. My stomach has been feeling flatter though no weight loss experienced. I notice that I am still getting a little bloating after certain foods, particularly bread but this has always been the case for me.
Day 21 – Same as above. I am feeling lighter and better for having a regular daily pass that feels like it’s fully emptied. Though my stomach is feeling flatter and less boated, still no change in weight.
Conclusions
Though once again it seems Happy Mammoth are creating products with solid ingredients and formulations. I have no doubt that this product will support good gut health.
I definitely felt the benefits of my digestive system feeling a little less sensitive in that I have been experiencing less bloating after the initial first few days and have since become super regular.
Literally within 10 minutes of finishing my morning smoothie I would go to the toilet and have a very easy passing poop that felt like a complete emptying.
So yes, I am once again a fan of this product BUT at the price point, it’s not a sustainable long-term solution for many people including myself.
I may consider doing a month of this protocol once a year or every 6 months, but it’s not something that I will be buying month on month bases because of the cost.
And actually, it’s maybe like putting a band-aid on a gaping wound when it comes to many people’s gut health.
Yes, we should be looking at making gut health a priority, but I believe that this always should come from a food-first approach where you could achieve similar benefits with a little bit of work and nowhere near the same price tag.
When working on improving gut health follow these steps:
- Remove – take note of foods that your body reacts to and make an effort to remove or at the very least reduce them. Reduce high processed and high sugar foods.
- Repair – Bring in probiotics and prebiotics for healthy gut microbiome. Probiotics are the healthy gut bacteria found in fermented foods while prebiotics are foods that feed the probiotics. All fermented foods are sources of Bifidobacteria which was one of the ingredients of the formulation. Milk kefir, sourdough bread, sauerkraut, kimchi and other fermented vegetables. Fermented foods containing lactic acid bacteria, such as cultured milk and yoghurt products, have been found to increase levels of good bacteria.
Foods known to repair include:
- Bone broth
- Aloe
- Collagen powder
- Apple cider vinegar
- Pineapple
- Glutamine
- Ginger
- Dandelion greens
- Healthy fats
- WATER
Foods that are natural probiotics include:
- Kimchi
- Sauerkraut
- Kombucha
- Tempeh (soy/grains)
- Miso (soy)
- Nato (soy)
- Kefir (dairy)
- Yoghurt (dairy or coconut)
Natural prebiotics
- Garlic
- Onion
- Asparagus
- Bananas
- Jerusalem artichokes
- Dandelion greens
- Beans/legumes
- Chicory root
- Cacoa
Make sure you eat an abundance of fruit and vegetables to get enough fibre into your diet. Scientific studies have shown that the best way to support your gut microbiome is to eat more fruits and vegetables.
I have been enjoying the feeling of more regular and much easier passing bowel movements since taking the Complete Gut Repair and I wanted to keep this up.
I have since been adding Psyllium husk to my morning smoothie. It’s a very cheap and effective way to get a lot of fibre into your diet. It doesn’t taste of anything and is keeping me very regular and with easy passing each morning.
I may also look at getting this prebiotic fibre supplement as again this is a cheaper option to consume the Fibre Supplement 100% Acacia Gum Arabic, it’s just $16.99. ** Note, this is an affiliate link. This means I may make a small commission if you choose to buy, but at no additional cost to you.
I always look at eating a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and am going to come back to making my kefir more regularly, which is something I got out of the habit of making. Though it is now far easier to buy from the supermarket too.
So whilst there have been some positive effects, I once again have to preface my conclusion by saying it’s not the magic solution to belly fat or weight gain. It’s always going to be a good idea to create a healthy diet to work alongside any supplementation for better results.
Whilst I have been enjoying the feeling of being more regular and having a flatter and less bloated stomach. I haven’t lost any additional weight.
We are all individuals and respond differently to different products. For the average person with digestive issues, it may be worthwhile having a stool test, blood test, checking hormone levels and speaking with your medical practitioner.

Does this work when someone is taking Mounjaro or SEMAGLUTIDE?
admin says
I don’t know. That would be something that you should discuss with your medical practitioner that is supporting your glp1 usage.
