Next Active Wear Review | Discover The Best Activewear For 40+ Women

November 12, 2024 · In: Fitness, Workout Clothes

I am on the hunt to discover the best activewear for 40+ women. We want to feel good and kinda hang onto some trends without wearing crop tops or butt scrunching leggings. In this post I will be doing an Next active wear review after it was highly recommended when I asked my audience where they are getting their active wear from.

I’m working on creating a directory of reviews, and so you can see the full list of reviews here and I will be sure to keep these posts updated as I go along.

In the below video you can see my full try on haul.

What can I say, I am a sucker for some leopard print. I sized down this time and got these in a medium and as a UK size 14 they fit me well. Also wearing the pink long sleeve. I wear this regularly and I love it as a super lightweight top

Next Active Wear Sizing

The main thing I have to note is the variability in sizing. Some items fit fine, yet others were so big and so if you are ordering online I would definitly opt to get a couple of size oiptions.

I am usually around a UK size 14. When shopping in places like Zara or H&M I am normally a L-XL, yet in these Next sizes I bought a large for most items, though I really should have sized down.

I have more recently gone on to re-order the leopard print leggings in the new lighter shade and have sized down and gone with a medium and they fit great.

I’m really loving the Next Activewear range that is available right now. Really nice designs and good prices. I did a full review on some other pieces recently so if you want to check out the long form video review that is over on the blog But bravo next, more of this please #workoutclothes #gymclothes #gymclotheshaul #activewearhaul #activewearfashion #activewearforwomen

Product Range

I really liked a lot of the range, though I did find that a lot of sizes were already sold out. Next do restock items, but it’s not on a set schedule, so it’s more of a matter of checking back in or going into store to find sizes in certain items when you can.

I felt some items had a great range of patterns and colours, whilst other items were a little limited.

All of the items felt nice in terms of quality and were super lightweight.

Pricing

I feel that the items are a great price for the quality. Some items felt really nice quality, though I can’t comment on their durability at this moment. I have kept one top at the moment, so will let you know how that fairs up.

Though I would definitely look at getting some basic tanks as I think they are really well priced.

I feel Next have a great selection, reasonable prices and seem to be good quality from what I felt. Be careful with sizing, but I will definitely be looking at buying some more of their Next active wear range in the future.
