I’m back with my month three update already… and I honestly can’t believe how quickly it’s going. So this is my Mounjaro before and after 3 month results.
Big thanks to the Sponsor for this video Click Pharmacy for supporting my weight loss journey: https://www.clickpharmacy.co.uk/ Use Code: W85OFF
If you’re new here, this is my weight loss journey using Mounjaro, as someone who is also a health and fitness coach. So this isn’t just about the scale for me. It’s about understanding what’s actually happening in the body, how it feels, and whether this is something that can realistically fit into real life.
As always, I’m going to walk you through how the last month has gone, what’s changed, what I’ve noticed, and how I’ve felt and then I’ll share my full month three results at the end.
You can either read on, or watch the YouTube version by clicking the image below.
A Quick Note on My Provider
Before we get into it, I do just want to say a big thank you to my sponsor, Click Pharmacy, for supporting this journey.
I’ve now switched over to them, and the whole process from application through to delivery has been really smooth and easy.
But I do think it’s really important to say this:
This is a medication!
You need to do your research, and most importantly, make sure you are using a registered provider. There are a lot of unregulated options out there, and that’s not something you want to take risks with.
Month 3: A Very Different Kind of Month
So month one, I had my biggest weight loss which is to be expected on any weight loss journey I lost 9lb
Month two, things slowed slightly, but I still felt really good with my progress still losing 6lb.
Month three… has definitely been slower.
And there’s a big reason for that.
I’ve actually been away twice this month which means over two weeks out of the month I’ve been out of my usual routine.
But honestly? This is real life.
You’re not always going to have perfect conditions where your training is dialled in, your food is perfect, and everything runs smoothly. Especially when you’re travelling, sometimes you just have to work with what’s available.
Snowboarding Trip: Real Life, Real Choices
The first trip was to Austria for my boys’ snowboarding competition — which they absolutely smashed, proud mum moment!
But in terms of routine…
It was very different.
There was definitely more drinking than I would usually have. We’re British… we like a beer on holiday. And yes, I was still drinking most days.

One thing I did notice though with Mounjaro is that I physically can’t drink as much. You get to a point where your body is like that’s enough and I suppose it’s that stop button that I just didn’t seem to have before taking this.
The Big Physical Win: Feeling Lighter
One of the biggest moments for me on that trip was actually during the hikes.
We were walking up and down the mountains a lot, and I just remember thinking:
“This feels so much easier.”
At this point, I was already down around 16lbs (about 7kg) from the previous two months. And when you’re not carrying that extra weight uphill especially at altitude you really feel the difference.
I wasn’t as out of breath.
I felt fitter.
My body just moved better.
And those are the moments where you realise something is working.
Food, Overeating & A Lesson Learned
During that trip, breakfasts and lunches were generally light. I wasn’t overeating day-to-day.
But there were a couple of evenings where I did go overboard. One night in particular, we went for a Chinese. I ordered what used to be my go-to: sweet and sour chicken, yum!
It came deep fried… and I instantly knew I’d made a mistake.
That night, I woke up feeling really sick because the food had just sat heavy in my stomach and I actually was physically sick. And that was completely my own doing.
How Mounjaro Changes Your Relationship With Food
This is something I think is really important to share.
This medication changes how your body responds to food.
Normally now, I naturally gravitate towards lighter, healthier meals. And when you eat something heavy, processed, or high-fat… your body tells you.
Very clearly.
It makes you not want to go there again. And that’s a huge shift.
Because those were the types of foods that likely contributed to weight gain in the first place. So it’s not just appetite suppression, it’s a genuine shift in behaviour and preference.
Greece Trip: A Completely Different Experience
After that, we went to Greece for our anniversary.
Completely different vibe.
If you’ve been to Greece, you’ll know, the food makes it very easy to eat well.
Lots of fresh, Mediterranean-style meals, salads, lighter options.
And because it was all-inclusive, everything was readily available, which actually made it easier to make good choices. I even had a bit of a newfound love for tzatziki!

Hunger Patterns & Meal Frequency
One thing I noticed clearly this month. At the start of the week (after injection), hunger is much more controlled.
I was often eating just two meals a day.
But towards the end of the week, leading up to the next injection… Hunger does start to creep back in.
And I found myself naturally going back to three meals per day. That pattern was really noticeable.
Training, Movement & Balance
On this trip, I actually trained three times in the gym.
I enjoy training even on holiday.
Combined with lots of walking and generally feeling more relaxed, I felt like I had a really good balance.
Yes, I was still drinking most days (cocktails on a sunbed included 😄), but overall, I felt much more in control.
The Scale vs Reality
When I got back…
I gained 2lbs.
But I left it 24 hours before weighing, and honestly I knew straight away this wasn’t body fat.
Travel, flying, inflammation… it all plays a role.
Within a few days, that weight dropped back off.
Month 3 Weight Breakdown
- Week 1: -1lb
- Week 2 (snowboarding): no change
- Week 3: -1lb
- Week 4 (holiday): +2lbs (temporary)
Actual Month 3 Result: -2lbs
Why the Scale Doesn’t Tell the Full Story
If you only looked at the scale… you might feel disappointed. But I don’t rely on the scale alone and why you shouldn’t either. You want to aim for body re-compsition, not just weight loss. Losing fat whilst maintaining muscle is key for the long term success.
Measurements are still going down:
- -2cm around shoulders
- -1cm chest
- -2cm hips
That’s body recomposition.
That’s fat loss.
Even if the scale isn’t dramatically moving, I can still see a change in the progress pictures and why I’m so glad I have been documenting this journey. For my own benefit as well as to provide a resource of a realistic journey for anyone that may be considering it for themselves.

Muscle Mass, Strength & Training Focus
Maintaining muscle has always been a priority for me.
Yes, my scale suggests a small drop in muscle mass — but those readings aren’t always reliable unless you’re using something like a DEXA scan.
What matters more?
- My strength is being maintained
- My workouts feel strong
- I hit a 100kg leg press on holiday
So I’m not concerned.
Confidence, Identity & Feeling Like Me Again
This has probably been the biggest shift. I feel like me again. I’m wearing clothes I avoided before like white tops.
I feel confident on the beach.
Less self-conscious.
And yes, there is a vanity element to this. Of course there is.
We all want to feel good in our bodies, but I want to perform at my best too. I like to do some sort of race and challenge each year to help me keep focused on my training. The last few I have done I have just felt heavy and each year these challenges just getting harder and harder as I was gaining weight.
I’m feeling like the fit version of me like I used to. Fit, strong and excited to take on this years fitness challenges.

The Mental Shift (Especially as a Coach)
As a health coach, this has been a big one if I’m being honest.
I’ve always known what to do how to eat, how to train. But with insulin resistance and PCOS, it felt like a constant battle and I felt like I was a little lost as a coach doubting myself and my ability to be able to support clients.
Now?
That internal fight is gone.
I feel aligned with the habits I’ve always known I should be following.
And that’s powerful and I feel more empowered than ever to support more women who may have also been deep in the struggle.
Increased Heart Rate: What I’ve Noticed
Using my Ultrahuman Ring Air, I’ve been tracking sleep, stress, and recovery.
One thing I noticed:
My resting heart rate has increased slightly — around 2–3 bpm.

From what I’ve researched, this can be fairly common with GLP-1 medications.
It’s thought to be linked to:
- Metabolic changes
- Nervous system activity
At this level, I’m not overly concerned at the moment. But I am monitoring it. And I would always recommend doing the same if you’re using any medication.
Going Forward: My Plan
Energy levels are now much more stable.
So moving forward:
- Adding more structured cardio (HIIT / sprint intervals)
- Continuing strength training to maintain muscle
- Tracking food a little more closely
- Managing alcohol intake better
I also experimented this week with splitting my dose (based on something I heard on the The Diary of a CEO), rather than increasing it — and so far, that’s felt good.
Final Thoughts: Is Mounjaro “Cheating”?
This is something that comes up a lot. And my honest answer?
No.
You still have to do the work.
You still need to build the habits.
But what it does is remove that constant internal battle.
Especially for women in midlife dealing with hormonal changes, insulin resistance, and increased hunger signals.
It gives you support.
Should You Try It?
I’ll always say this: ALWAYS Try the natural route first.
Focus on:
- Food quality
- Reducing snacking
- Consistency
But if you’ve tried and you’re still struggling it might be worth speaking to a healthcare professional to explore your options.
If you’re considering a GLP-1 medication, it’s important that you go through a regulated provider with proper medical screening and ongoing support. You will usually need to be a BMI of 30 or over to qualify.
I’m often asked where to start, so here are some well-known providers that offer online consultations and medical guidance.

Final Month 3 Results
- Weight loss: -2lbs
- Measurements: down across shoulders, chest, and hips
- Strength: maintained
- Energy: improved
- Confidence: significantly improved
The Biggest Takeaway
This hasn’t been perfect.
There’s been travel. Alcohol. Disrupted routines.
And I’m still progressing.
And that, for me, is what makes this feel sustainable.
